Wife, mother, practitioner of the healing arts, patient advocate, preceptor, mentor, academic, writer, and Proud American. I also currently have quite a menagerie: two Basenjis (the African barkless hound live with me and we are breeding another litter shortly, and hopefully some pups will become bomb sniffers); we have a mama donk and a baby at her side and one on the way (I rescued these from the Kill Pen in New Jersey last Summer); a Welsh pony named Salsa; a Halflinger named Jigs...

My Bio: My degrees are a BA in Management and Social Science and a second degree BSN (Bachelors of Nursing) from the University of Pennsylvania; I have a good deal of my graduate work in nursing done, nearly completed a MS in Management, with additional work in forensics, education and in criminology.

I've worked on Presidential campaigns as well as local ones. I've lived in the real world. Although currently disabled, I've worked in corporate America, the Health Care system, on farms and every odd job available to support myself during my education and in life. I finally found my calling in the end-of-life care of people and their families and believe strongly in the hospice movement.
